Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 1, 2026 · Last updated: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Your Body Audit, a service of Mountain View Media, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit our website, take our quiz, book a call, join our membership, purchase a consultation, or otherwise interact with our services (together, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and mailing or billing address when you take our quiz, submit a form, book a call, subscribe, or purchase.
- Health-related information you choose to provide: responses to our quiz and intake questions, and any information you voluntarily share about your energy, sleep, activity, nutrition, lifestyle, medications, supplements, or health goals. You provide this information voluntarily, and only what you choose to share.
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, device, operating system and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and referral source, collected via cookies, pixels, and analytics tools.
- Communications: emails, text messages, form submissions, and support requests you send us, along with our replies.
- Call information: if you have a phone consultation with us, we may record the call and retain related details (such as date, time, and duration) for quality, educational, and record-keeping purposes. See Section 15 of our Terms of Service regarding consent to recording.
2. About Your Health Information
The quiz and intake responses you provide are educational self-assessment information, not medical records, and we are not a HIPAA-covered entity or a business associate of one. Our Services provide general health education only; they are not medical, pharmacy, or nutrition care. We treat the health-related information you choose to share with care and use it only as described in this policy. Please share only what you are comfortable providing.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, personalize, and improve our educational Services, including generating your quiz score and preparing educational summaries you request;
- Respond to your inquiries and send the information you request;
- Schedule, confirm, and follow up on consultations and discovery calls;
- Send you emails, updates, and occasional marketing (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- Send SMS messages you have consented to receive;
- Process payments, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Maintain business, analytics, tax, accounting, and compliance records; and
- Comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights.
We do not use the health-related information you share to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Legal Bases and Consent
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on your consent (for example, for marketing emails, SMS messages, call recording, and any health-related information you choose to share), the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 10.
5. SMS / Text Messaging
When you provide your phone number and give consent, we may send you SMS text messages including appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Services — such as website hosting, email and CRM platforms, scheduling tools, analytics providers, and payment processors — and only to the extent needed to perform those functions, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
We may also disclose information: (a) when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process; (b) to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; (c) to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or threats to the safety of any person; or (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies, pixels, and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the Services are used and to improve them. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal, though some features of the Services may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, operate our business, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and compliance requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 10), subject to records we are required or permitted by law to keep.
9. Security
We use secure hosting, access controls, and encryption in transit where reasonably possible to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential.
10. Your Rights & Choices
You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing emails (via the unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP) at any time. To make a request, contact us at hello@yourbodyaudit.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), other U.S. state privacy laws, or the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to appeal a denied request and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Third-Party Links & Services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services (including scheduling tools, lab-testing providers, and affiliate partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies before providing information to them.
13. U.S.-Based Processing
We operate in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with a revised Effective Date, and your continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
